What generation and validation cover
Generate mode turns one absolute HTTP(S) URL per line into a single-origin urlset XML draft. Validation mode checks XML syntax, root element, loc formats, duplicates, mixed-origin scope advisories, optional lastmod, priority/changefreq formats, and the 50,000-entry limit. Google ignores priority and changefreq. Neither mode crawls the site or verifies HTTP responses, robots access, canonical/noindex, Google fetches, or indexing.
Processing stays in your browser; the XML is not uploaded. The sitemap protocol allows up to 50,000 URLs and 50 MB of uncompressed XML per file; this tool applies a smaller 5 MB input limit. Split larger lists into multiple files and use a sitemap index when needed.
