Search Inputs
Starting values are educational scenarios. Selecting a position only fills an example CTR; you can enter your own rate. Search Console data is not fetched automatically.

Calculation example and interpretation limits
With 1,000 monthly searches, a 2% current CTR, and a 5% target CTR, the scenarios are 20 and 50 clicks per month. The difference is +30; if volume and rates stayed constant for 12 months, it would be +360 clicks. A 1% target shows a difference of −10; declines are not hidden as zero.
Formula: search volume × CTR / 100. Clicks are not unique visitors or sessions. Fractional results are expected values; actual clicks are whole numbers. Intermediate values are not rounded. The 12-month multiplication is not a forecast and does not model seasonality, growth time, or the probability of reaching a position.
Match search volume and CTR by country, device, period, and query scope. A Search Console impression is not the same metric as search volume. When grouping similar queries, check whether the volume provider combines close variants; overlapping volumes can inflate the opportunity.
