Internal Linking Opportunity Finder
Discover contextually relevant anchor texts and internal linking targets.
Input Fields
Separate terms with commas. The tool searches for them in each source row.
Legacy format: title | summary. URL format: absolute URL | title | excerpt | known outgoing URLs (space-separated). The fourth field is optional; if omitted, existing link status is unknown.
Opportunity Results
A candidate match is not a link recommendation
Terms are matched as exact token sequences after NFC normalization and lowercasing for the selected page language. Inflections, synonyms, and meaning are not interpreted; “SEO” does not match “seology.” Repeated terms do not inflate the match count. Ordering uses only the number of distinct matching terms and source order; it is not based on Search Console, business value, or SEO priority.
A supplied source URL must use the same origin. Fragments are ignored for comparison; query strings and trailing slashes are preserved. Self-links, duplicate sources, and rows already linking to the target in the supplied outgoing-link list are excluded. If that list is incomplete or outdated, the existing-link check is incomplete. In the legacy format, source URLs and link status are unknown.
The first eight candidates are shown; the JSON output contains the full candidate and exclusion lists. The example includes one eligible candidate, a self-link, and a source already linked to the target on example.com. Only supplied data is reviewed; URLs are not opened, sites are not crawled, and no links are added.
Before implementation, verify the source paragraph, the target's 200/canonical/indexability status, and existing links. Choose natural anchor text that explains the destination to readers; this tool does not prescribe exact-match anchors. Canonical Checklist.
