About the Client

Plot Kafası is a social community that connects people through film nights, city discoveries, game meetups, and other shared experiences. Its digital platform brings event discovery, community storytelling, and participation applications into one coherent journey.

The Challenge

The project needed more than a promotional website. It had to translate the brand's energy into a digital experience, reduce the hesitation of first-time and solo attendees, guide different interests toward the right event, and turn social-media attention into a structured application path.

Approach & Process

We delivered the platform end to end, covering information architecture, visual direction, responsive interface design, interactions, development, and launch. Alongside the event calendar, interest-led pathways, and detailed application form, we created the Boredom Detector, the Weekend Plan Roulette, a personality mini test and the First Step Simulator to turn passive browsing into participation.

Project Details

Infrastructure and content management

The platform is built with Next.js and Payload CMS. The team manages events (category, date, city, venue, capacity, cover image and registration link), page SEO titles and contact settings from the admin panel, which also includes a user guide written for each role.

Application management

The participation form validates age, field lengths and consent boxes on the server. Applications are tracked in the panel with New, In Review, On Hold, Accepted and Rejected statuses and can be assigned to a team member.

Interest-led routing

Homepage cards, the plan roulette and the mini test carry the visitor's chosen interest to the form, which shows that suggestion. Because the suggestion is read in the browser, the page can still be served from cache.

Playground

The Boredom Detector turns three sliders into a score from 0 to 100. The Playground holds SessizlikSavar icebreaker cards, the Plot Generator story maker and the two-scene First Step Simulator, and the plan roulette respects the reduced-motion setting.

Technical SEO

Each event is marked up with Event schema and the contact page with FAQPage; every page gets its own canonical, Open Graph tags and an automatically generated share image. When content changes in the panel, the affected pages refresh automatically.
